I am unable to install Google Play Store + Installer.

My phone is rooted, but I still cannot seem to install Google Play + Installer.

you need to uninstall your existing Play Store first!
Deleteuse Titanium Backup (search apkradar) to make a backup of your existing app before removing it! then install the modded one (the included one is outdated search google for an updated version)
to remove system apps like the play store try NoBloat app:

-yes for (1) as long as you pick "app+data" (but remember i havent tried it with the Walking dead, so dont blame me if you lose your saves, just saying!!)
Delete-yes for (2) . note: check the size of your backup because Obb (game sd data) is not usually included so you should copy it to your computer manuallly!)
-the point is if you crash your phone or lose or delete sth,etc.. you have a backup of it!
just keep in mind, the 'Titanium Backup' folder has to be on your phone/tablet to restore anything.
