“I bought this app for my phone, my tablet, and all five of my family members. My son (the programmer/techie) wouldn't go near it if it would have shown up as constantly running in the background on his phone. He saw how it merely runs when you or a fellow tracker requests it to run, and even then for only briefly, and he kept it on his phone. My youngest child has a very simple low RAM and storage capacity phone. She couldn't use it if it took up to many megs of storage or if it ran up her incredibly limited RAM. It is lightweight enough for even her phone. Even our child with the iPhone uses it. I even use it to find my phone when I misplace it by requesting a ring.
