Anyone having problems! uninstall your game,now follow these steps one by one. First Install the apk file (Dont open it yet) you have the data folder right? (Data folder must be in this format "com.ea.games" something like that, grab (copy or cut) this data folder and open your phone's sdcard and open android folder. In android folder you will found "data" and "obb" folders open obb folder, if there is no obb folder then create a new one and rename it to obb ,now open obb folder and put data folder (com.ea.example) inside it. It's done,now you can play your game without problems

HI, are you installing them from the SD card? If not try using something like Andexplorer filedroid pro to browse the SD card from your phone

samsung galaxy nexus, tried 1.03 apk first then 1.02. get black screen with 1.03 and then force close with 1.02... it says incompatible on the play store, was hoping it wasnt the case as some people said similar but worked for them :(

The offline option is grey but no matter what I try to do it does not respond until it eventually force closes the app. I have been trying to get this game to work for days and am at my wits end. I would happily pay for it if the Note 2 was a supported device on the Play Store. Others seem to have got it to work on this device. Please help.

DeleteI got it! Had to uninstall and start again with 1.02. For those of you who are having trouble with the error message saying download failed because you have not purchased the app are trying to open it too soon. Install the apk file and DO NOT OPEN IT. Come out of it and put the folder with the rest of the data into the obb folder and then try it. If it still doesn't work, uninstall and try version 1.02. Got to admit, this took ages to crack!

DeleteGo OFFLINE. Uninstall your game. First Install the apk file v1.0.2 (DON'T OPEN IT YET). You have the data folder (com.rockstargames.gtasa) right?! grab it and open your phone's sdcard then open android folder. In android folder you will find "data" and "obb" folders. DeleteThis is frustrating. I did everything listed in the instructions but it still doesn't run. I tried to run it offline and it says "data connection needed to download files" and when im online it says "download failed because you may not have bought the app". you may try 1.0.3 if 1.0.2 doesnt work for you
So i did what you said but i still get the same error message again. I also tried 1.0.3 which gave me a black screen after pressing offline and i also downloaded the apk data again didnt work either. I also tried to install and run it offline but then it just gave me a message: the files could not be downloaded. Because you dont have a internet connection atm. I also tried deleting i also used countless apks. I dont know what to do please help.
DeleteI have all the parta in 1 folder in my device storage I renamed the folder Gta Parta I have removed all the underscores from part 1 & still nothing is happening ?? Help me please !! ReplyDeletedude! download all 9 parts, put them in one folder, start extracting from part1. After extracting you get (com.rockstargames.gtasa) , put it in 'Android/obb/(here)'

ReplyDeleteif you are on your computer. Download Winrar or 7zip, and install that.
DeleteConnect your phone to your computer with usb cable. Right click APK with your mouse and chose Extract Here. Then right click Part1 with your mouse and chose Extract Here. Copy both the APK and the folder named 'com.rockstargames.gtasa' to your internal sd card. Disconnect phone from computer. TURN OFF WIFI (internet). Install apk from phone BUT DO NOT RUN it. Move 'com.rockstargames.gtasa' to this place 'sdcard/Android/obb/(put that folder here )'. Play the game (OFFLINE)
OK I did it on my phone with Androzip I clicked on part 1 , then put Extract here , then it loaded but said rar unpacking error occurred ..

DeleteWell I was able to install the app but wen I opened it said resources could not be found , so I went back to the parts try to extract them to android/obb but it said Rar unpacking error .. help mee
Delete(stay OFFLINE) if you already installed the apk, then go run it and play!
Deleteif not then try v1.0.2 first (if it doesn't work for you, uninstall it and try v1.0.3)
if you have to uninstall the apk to install some other version, RENAME data folder first to '__com.rockstargames.gtasa' or sth kuz you may lose it when uninstalling
then try reinstalling while Online (worked for some)

ReplyDeleteI finished GTA San Andreas in my PC many years ago and I still have my save game file (GTASAsf1.b file). I navigate to sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstar.gtasa/files/ and paste the file there. But it didn't appear when I try to load the game. It strange since this method worked well in GTA III and Vice City. Anyone know how to use PC San Andreas save game in Android?
Theirs alot of users with black screen crash problem..after clicking offline on social hub screen..can we get some help here?..i myself installed using exact instructions..tried both apk versions and still same problem..my device should support it as it supports other non compatibke games tooo..mpim getting frustated now..help please

DeleteOK I got some parts cuz 3 , 6, 9 aren't working & I tried 2 of the websites I'm hoping the 3rd one works , OK well after I download them I have them in a folder , I extracted them all to there , then the rock start folder appeared I copied that folder to android/obb I downloaded the app I went to downloads I put Extract I installed it then it told I no Internet connection so I tried doing what some of yall said & try downloading some then stop but it didn't work cuz it didn't even let me download cuz it said I hadn't purchased so I'm lost .. wat do I do .. isn't the rock star folder suppose to have like all the parts in it ? & yet I check on it & it has nothing inside so ? Help ? Oh & wen I download the app do I need to move it some wer like to the obb or do I just install it from downloads folder ?? Help please !!

ReplyDeletedude i tried everything... v1.0.2 and v1.0.3 offline and online with or without luckypatcher, and i got NOTHING. only when i installed v1.0.3 online with luckypather i saw the first screen of the game, that where you have to choose to play offline or with an account. i selected the first one but then showed up a black screen. it's frustrating...
Install 1.0.2 (DO NOT OPEN), put data folder to /obb (in internal memory). TURN OFF ANY INTERNET CONNECTION BEFORE YOU RUN THE GAME. play :-)

Deleteand you think that i didn't try this way?! i wrote you that i try EVERY possible combiantion. doesn't simply work for me. if i turn off the connection show up the "download failed because the resources could not be found!" message. if i turn on the connection, than fail the product authentication. different ways, same "exitus"...

2. Download 1.02 apk from direct link.
3. Install apk but do not open.
4. Get the app unrar free on the play store.
5. Only select part 1 in the unrar app and do the job
6. Put the map com.rockstargames..... in android/obb
7. Turn off ANY internet connection
8. Run gta san andreas.
Have fun
offline means no internet connection, not the 'offline' button in the game!!
