I've been using root Explorer since I bought my first Android device a long long time ago. Throughout its lifespan it has remained unchanged visually. It desperately needs some love in the UI department, especially now that material design is everywhere. It needs to be here as well. Functionality wise it still does what it did all those years ago and it does it well. It's just that its age is starting to show. Nothing a new coat of paint can't fix. -Andrew
Other than having access to places other file managers do not, and r/w anywhere there can be, this is a very simplistic no frills, basic app interface with power tools. -Curtis
Still the king of file explorers. Every feature works well, and the interface is very intuitive. Well worth the purchase back in the good old Donut/Eclair days. -Paul
