GrooVe IP allows you to make/receive calls to/from any North American number over IP - it doesn't use up minutes. Quality is very good, for the most part. Occasional sound quality issues but better than most other similar apps. You also have the option of picking a Canadian number! -Sara

Great alternative to Google voice! Gig this when I traveled abroad a couple of years ago and it worked great with Google voice. Google shut down their side but Grooveip came up with a workable solution! Thank you. Have it on galaxy note 8, Samsung s4, Samsung Captivate all work smoothly. -Tim
