Mobile has come a long way! I can't compare Tales from the Borderlands with the PC version since I don't have it but it works flawlessly on my Tab Pro. I can imagine lower end hopefuls having problem running it smoothly, though. Don't blame the game. Lots of RP choices (often hilarious), surprise cameos from past figures, some not-overly-difficult action sequences (swipe or tap or pound). Full dialog, all well voiced, and awesome graphics. And it's not IAP crap. You don't have to keep putting in $2+ if you want to keep playing or start over trying different paths. They're up front and honest (and affordable). The only IAP is you can get the season pass to per-purchase the remaining four episodes for what looks like the price of three. -Ben
Few Technical Hiccups! T.F.t.B Ep.1 does a great job in capturing the authentic feel of Borderlands. The characters are funny and feel like they fit in the world. However, there are some minor technical hiccups that really should be addressed. Running on a Nexus 6, I had a few instances of frame stuttering and one instance where the game locked up. On top of that, when you finish Ep. 1, you are prompted by the game to uninstall previous episodes to clear space, despite there seemingly being no actual way to do this in game. -Addam
I put a couple hours in Tales from the Borderlands and it seems like there's plenty of story left. I can't play this all day so this will last me a while. Only complaint is that ugly icon, I mean come on you can do better than that. -Bailey
DESCRIPTION & FEATURES:
Tales from the Borderlands is a five part episodic game series from the creators of The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead - A Telltale Games Series. Set on the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events seen in Borderlands 2, this is a story full of Borderlands’ trademark humor, following two adventurers on their quest for greatness. You’ll play as Rhys, a Hyperion ‘suit’ with dreams of being the next Handsome Jack, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist looking to score her biggest ever swindle. Thrown together as unwilling partners in an adventure to recover cash they both think is theirs, their journey will take you on a wild ride where gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters are just some of the obstacles you’ll encounter, in this new take on the award-winning universe created by Gearbox Software.
The Season Pass is the best value and entitles you to all four remaining episodes at a discount when compared to buying each episode individually (Episode 1 Available Now, Episodes 2-5 to be released on a regular schedule over the next few months).
